The combination of the 2 types of LEDs ensures optimal and flexible operation. POSITION 1: intense white light for your light therapy session. The white light becomes warmer (orange-yellow color) as you lower the intensity for comfortable use as a desk lamp or auxiliary lamp during the day after your light therapy session (30 to 60 min per day). POSITION2: Soft blue light and just as effective as intense white light. Our light-sensitive retinal ganglion cells use melanopsin, an enzyme that is very sensitive to blue light, and plays an important role in regulating our biological clock. So blue monochromatic light can be just as effective as intense white light.
